In a shocking turn of events, Gurcharan Singh who is best known as Sodhi from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is missing. It seems he was last seen at the Delhi Airport on April 22. Gurcharan Singh was supposed to fly down from Delhi to Mumbai. He did not reach his destination, nor did he come back home. His phone has been unreachable since then. His father also said that his son was completely stable when he left home.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah star Gurcharan Singh plays Sodhi
Gurcharan Singh who plays Sodhi had left Delhi for Mumbai as he was deep in debt way back in 2013. Then, he got work in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and worked on it for seven long years. After his exit, he took up some work in the OTT space. Gurcharan Singh aka Sodhi said he would like to do something for his parents as he had more free time now. The parents have not been able to touch base with him, and a police investigation is underway. It seems he quit due to his father’s health issues. He too had uncleared payment from the makers, which was done after the Jennifer Mistry sexual harassment case.
Parents approach Delhi Police to track their son
The parents have asked the cops to trace their son. Way back in 2015, actor Vishal Thakkar left his home and never returned again. The Mumbai Police tried to find him out for three long years. In his case, there were reports of how he was unhappy due to lack of work and a rape charge on him. We hope Gurcharan Singh is safe and sound.
