Billionaire Mukesh Ambani Faces Shocking ₹200 Crore Death Threat

Just one day after Billionaire Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, received a menacing death threat via email demanding a staggering sum of ₹20 crore, the billionaire business tycoon found himself in the crosshairs once again on October 28th. This time, the same ominous email account delivered an even more audacious ultimatum, raising the stakes to an astronomical ₹200 crore, alluding to the lack of a response to the initial threat.

The chilling email contained a message that left no room for misinterpretation, as reported by news agency ANI: “Another email came from the same email account in which it was written ‘U have not responded to our email now the amount is 200 crore otherwise the death warrant is signed.” The abrupt escalation in the extortion demands was undoubtedly a cause for alarm.

The first email, which was dispatched on October 27, had menaced Ambani with grave consequences, warning him of a potential assassination should he fail to comply with the demand for ₹20 crore. The ominous message conveyed a sinister promise of violence, stating, “if you don’t give us 20 crore rupees, we will kill you, we have the best shooters in India.”

In light of this severe threat, the security team responsible for Mukesh Ambani’s safety promptly lodged a complaint with the Gamdevi Police in Mumbai. The police, acting swiftly, registered a case against the unknown perpetrator under sections 387 and 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code. An ongoing investigation is currently underway to identify and apprehend the individual behind these menacing communications.

Sadly, this isn’t the first instance of Mukesh Ambani and his family receiving death threats. In 2022, an unidentified individual made a threatening call to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in South Mumbai, threatening to detonate the facility. The police has started an investigation into the matter.

In another disturbing episode from August 2022, a jeweler was arrested for making threats against the hospital and specifically targeting Mukesh Ambani and his family members.

This alarming pattern of threats is not confined to recent years. In February 2021, a sports utility vehicle laden with explosives was discovered near Ambani’s opulent South Mumbai residence, known as ‘Antilia.’ This discovery sent shockwaves through the nation, prompting heightened security measures.
